What type of roulette player are you?
It may or may not come as a surprise to learn that there are a variety of gamblers out there, whether playing roulette or other casino games.
Responsible gambling is promoted by casinos and gambling houses. As a gambler, it’s worth taking the time to see whether you regard playing as a fun past time or a bane of addiction. In other words, just what type of gambler are you?
There are six types of gambler that are worth looking so you can learn just what category you fit into.
In the first instance, the social gambler represents the majority. Gambling is for fun and enjoyed in moderation.
The frequent gambler regards gambling as an integral part of your routine. You remain focused and responsible and do not suffer any social or financial problems because of it.
When you do, this is when you become a problem gambler. Control is somewhat lost as you seek ways to recover wagers, hoping to get rich quick but allowing it to dominate your life and in turn losing friends and more money.
The professional gambler is a rare egg. Professional gamblers rely on gambling for the primary income but go about it in such a way that they do not bet irrationally, rather maintain a level of control and place bets logically, maintaining a pot and managing money more effectively.
Compare this then to the action gambler. Gambling provides the fix, the daily high you need. There’s an exotic pleasure in winning, so much so that bets can get bigger and bigger. As such this can get right of control, focus is lost amongst many other things.
Finally, the pathological gambler is the most dangerous. Gambling becomes a disease, there is no money management with every spare dime spent in trying to recoup monies lost long ago.
