Roulette etiquette has been made standard at the casino for many reasons. Other players and dealers get annoyed when there is a player who will make light of the situation and decide to capture the moment on camera or call on a cell phone to relay events to another party.
Casinos therefore have a policy of no electronic devices on or near the Roulette Table. Electronics can also be cleverly disguised and casinos are suspicious of their use in digital cheating.
