Roulette Pattern Strategy

You hear about so many different roulette strategies, there seems to be a new one every week. The question is do they work? That is a tricky question to answer. If you are looking for a strategy that is going to guarantee you big wins then the answer is no, there are no strategies for that. If there were, casinos would be out of business pretty quick! Roulette is a game of chance. Every spin of the wheel is a new random event and there is no way to predict exactly what will happen and where the ball will land.

The Roulette Pattern Strategy is one system that many gamblers get lured into believing is the key to success. Take Mr X. He will stand at the roulette table studying the spins and counting up how often a certain number comes up. He will then be sure that since the number 6 for example has already won 4 times in the past hour that it must be about to land again. Many people actually believe that this is a viable strategy and will lose an awful lot of money by pursuing this belief. Unfortunately, unless you are playing at a table that has been weighted (which is illegal) then this theory does not hold water. There are just too many variables involved. When the dealer spins the ball it will always be with a different amount of force and no matter how small that difference is it will affect where the ball stops. You need to look at every spin at the roulette table as being a completely unique event, as previous winning numbers have absolutely no bearing at all on the current spin in play. The roulette pattern strategy just does not work.
