Roulette Myths and Legends – Vary your bets
Gamblers are superstitious people by nature! All too often it is easy to get suckered into believing tales about the wheel and the game that just are not true so here is a few of those myths smashed. First myth is that all roulette wheels are the same. Wrong. American and European wheels are different and you have a better chance of winning with the European wheel. This is because the odds of your number coming up are better as there are less numbers on the wheel!
Another popular myth is that sticking with the same number means that it is more likely to come up due to the laws of averages. Again, wrong! Each spin is a singular random occurrence. The wheel does not know what the previous number that won was! When the wheel is spun it is an individual event, it doesn’t matter that it has been 10 red numbers the last time, there is just as much chance for the next spin to be red or black. It’s 50-50 every time no matter what the previous result was. If you want to win then vary your bets and don’t rely on perceived patterns of occurrence, they really don’t exist and are purely chance.
