Roulette Cheats – Sleight of Hand
Among some of the dirtiest plays in Roulette is the technique known as Pinching and Past Posting. These two skills are staged sleight of hands that are used by cheats on bets that have already been placed on a Roulette game.
What is involved in Past Posting is that the player will wait until the dealer leans over the wheel to check where the ball has landed. In that split second, the player will switch their chip to the winning number or colour.
The alternative version of this is where a higher denomination chip is hidden under a smaller one.
Known as Pinching, the player waits until the ball comes to rest on a number and acts with sleight of hand accordingly. On a losing bet, a higher value chip is removed but on a win the chip remains, with the player drawing the dealer’s attention to the error with the denomination.
