Natural
In a Blackjack game, a two-card hand that totals 21. But in baccarat, a natural is a two-card total of eight or nine.
Negative Expectation
Another theoretical term where an expected gambling loss over a long period of time. Also, see House Edge.
Net Winnings
Accumulated winnings, but minus your original wager. This is the opposite of Gross Winnings.
Nickel
A $5 gambling chip.
Non-Negotiable Chip
This is a promotional chip. This chip cannot be exchanged for cash. It can be exchanged for other non monetary items as noted in their promotion.
Non-Value Chip
A chip whose value is always determined by the amount of the Buy In. This is opposite of a fixed value chip.
Number Pool
The complete range of numbers on offer in a game like Keno. In a lottery pool, the numbers range from 1 to 60, whereas the Keno pool is 1 to 80.
Nut
The amount of money a player wishes to win before quitting
