Cashier’s Cage

Catch

In Keno, a number you have chosen is drawn.

Change Colour

To change a coloured denomination chip for another coloured chip.

Chase

To bet again hoping to regain money originally lost.

Check

In a casino, this means chip. But in poker, the player stays in the game without placing a bet.

Chemin De Fer

A great table game using 6 or 8 decks of cards, similar to Baccarat, but here you require skill.

Chips

Rounded tokens representing different denominations of money. Casinos always require chips.

Chip Tray

The tray by the dealer that holds all the table’s chips.

Coat Tail

To bet the same numbers as a player who is currently winning.

Cold

Player is on a losing streak.

Colour Up

To exchange small denomination chips for large denomination chips. Often called Colour Out.

Come Bet

In a Craps game, a bet placed on the Come Line.

Come Line

In Craps, the area of the table where a Come Bet is placed.

Come Out Roll

In Craps, the player´s first roll in any given round. This establishes the Point.

Comps

Complimentary gifts for players by a casino, in order to urge the player to want to gamble more and stay longer. Usually food and drinks and sometimes a free or discounted room.

Counting Cards

Memorizing played cards in a game of Blackjack to gain an advantage against the dealer on the unplayed cards.

Craps

A fun casino table game played with dice.

Craps Out

In a Craps game, a roll of 2, 3, or 12 on the Come Out Roll.

Credit button

In game machines, the button allowing players to play coins in the form of credits. Coins you put in are credits.

Crew

In Craps, the dealers that are assigned to the game or table.

Croupier

French word for Dealer, used in Baccarat and Roulette.

Cut

To divide a deck into two parts.

Cut Card

A coloured card used to cut the deck
