Advanced Strategy – Call Bets
When playing at an advanced level of online roulette, extra options are available for players. These options mirror traditional casinos and focus on the traditional French rule set.
These have pre-requisites attached to them regarding bet size and chips. Players may bet set amounts on a series of numbers according to the section where these numbers lie.
These are referred to as call bets. Take a look below for a quick rundown of the most popular bets. In the guide below, a split is a bet on multiple numbers, and a unit refers to a single chip.
Les Voisins du Zéro (The Cousins of Zero)
This is a split bet, which bets 1 unit 0/2/3 (three number bet) followed by 1 unit splits on 4/7 12/15, 18/21 19/22 32/35 and a 2 unit corner bet on 25/26/28/29.
Jeu Zéro (Zero Game)
This is a mixed bet with single unit splits on 0/3, 12/15, 32/35 and a single bet on 26.
Le tiers du Cylindre (The Third of the Wheel)
This is a sector bet with single unit splits on 5/8, 10/11, 13/16, 23/24, 27/30 and 33/36.
Les Orphelins Plein (Plain Orphans)
This is a straight bet with singles units on 1,6,9,14,17,20,31,34.
Les Orphelins a Cheval (Split Orphans)
This is a mixed bet with single units on the following numbers, a single on 1, followed by splits on 6/9, 14/17, 17/20 and 31/34.
Cal bets are really exciting as they change the game around and give it a bit of fresh air. However, as you can see, they do increase your exposure significantly and they are an advanced form of wagering.
If you misuse the call bet, you can rapidly see your bankroll dwindle to nothing. Try it on demo before you try it for real, because the call bets are unlike no other.
